We have so much fun in our community.Shameless plug) you often see my #DesignInBlack posts. Many of the design inspirations that I share are striking and simply jaw dropping. Many of these design inspirations have stopped me in my tracks! Many of you also chimed in on how beautiful the designs and pictures are.
However, I also noticed another theme, many of you shared that while you found the pictures gorgeous and inspiring, you could never actually do it. I get it, black can be both safe and SCARY! Safe because, if any of you are like me, many of us gravitate to black in our fashion and attire. Why is that? Because black kinda matches or compliments almost everything. Then, why are we so scared to incorporate it in our surroundings? Especially when it comes to design, there is a false sense of permanence that black is often associated with. Soooo because I absolutely adore our community so much I am going to be bringing you some HAUTE tips, to help you begin getting comfortable and inspired to incorporate black design features in your own spaces.
Why I love black so much?
Black plays well as the main design feature in a room, or it can melt into the background and be a subtle player, like a really good background singer!
