Top Paint Colors of 2020

Updated: Mar 10, 2021

A few more days and we’re about to hit June. Just like that and it’s already mid-year. But unlike any other year, 2020 has been a bit slow because of the COVID-19 global pandemic.

Despite everything that’s happening all over the world, it’s not too late to get started on your home updates or renovation projects. In fact, it’s a great idea to use this time to make your house a brighter place to live in.

If you want to swipe on a fresh coat of paint but are still feeling confused and looking at different paint swatches, I got you covered. These top paint colors of 2020 will surely give any room an eye-catching change.

Classic Blue

Being this year’s Pantone color of the year, it’s a no brainer that classic blue would be a perfect wall color this 2020. Depending on the shade, this color can give any room a cool, classy vibe. Match this color with a bright yellow accent and you’ll have a perfect look.

Dusty Teal

Dusty teal is an eye-candy. It’s a nice, neutral color that matches with many beautiful colors like peach, rust, camel, and navy. This color is also a perfect pair for pale woods like birch and white oak. It will surely give a different look to your kitchen or living room. Since dusty teal is also showing a calming vibe, this can also be a perfect color for your bedroom walls.

Gray and Green

I’ve been reading a lot of that “Blue-is-the-New-Gray” thing, but I beg to differ. I say gray is always in. You just need to know how to mix and match. Like this year, I’m seeing a lot of gray and green combinations and they’re so stunning. They instantly make any room sexy, mysterious, and interesting – a must try!

Pink

A nice pink wall can always make any room bright and beautiful, but you have to make sure you’re using the right shade so it won’t end up tacky. My advice is to stay on the pastel and lighter shade and stay away from the neon, brighter ones.

Burnt Orange

Now, if you want an eclectic look, you might want to try a nice burnt orange paint. This color matches with many other paints and will give you a lot of room to mix and match.

These are just some nice and stunning colors that are a sure hit this year. What’s your favorite?
